Monthly Report on Steel Product Imports and Exports, October 2025

In October 2025, China exported 9.782 million tons of steel products, a decrease of 8.4% month-on-month, with a slight decline in export volume; the average export price was US$684.4/ton, a month-on-month increase of 0.8%.

From January to October, China cumulative steel exports reached 97.737 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%; the average export price was US$695.4/ton, a year-on-year decrease of 8.7%. In October, China imported 503,000 tons of steel products, a decrease of 8.4% month-on-month; the average import price was US$1594.6/ton, a slight decrease of 1.8% month-on-month. 

From January to October, China cumulative steel imports reached 5.041 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11.9%; the average import price was US$1686.1/ton, a year-on-year increase of 0.2%.
